Dimitra Rappou is Executive Director of Sustainable Products at the Confederation of Paper Industries (CPI), the UK’s leading trade association for the paper-based industries. She leads sustainability initiatives across the sector, engaging with stakeholders and policymakers to shape practical, evidence-based reforms. With deep expertise in UK and EU waste policy and a strong academic and cross-sector background, Dimitra brings a broad perspective to circular economy challenges. Her career spans public authorities, private industry, and third-sector organisations. She leads CPI’s work on Collection and Packaging reforms and is an active member of several UK and European expert groups on waste and resources policy.
