As Head of Policy, he ensures that Valpak’s 2,000+ business members stay informed about current and future producer responsibility regulations. He regularly delivers policy updates, represents business interests in industry and government meetings, and speaks publicly on EPR and waste sector reforms. Leading the regulatory affairs team at the UK’s largest EPR compliance provider, George engages with stakeholders and policymakers to shape practical reforms. His expertise helps businesses navigate packaging, electrical, and battery compliance obligations. In 2023, he was shortlisted for Rising Star of the Year at the UK Green Business Awards and named one of the 35 Under 35 in the UK’s waste industry for his policy advocacy work.
